WHAT DOES A ONE-ON-ONE SEX EDUCATION SESSION INVOLVE?

Note: I am not currently taking bookings. Watch this space for updates.

During a one-on-one sex education session, I will guide you by asking questions and creating a comfortable and affirming space for an in-depth conversation. I will provide you with relevant information, assist with reflection practices, and provide homework exercises and take-home resources.

As everyone's experience of sex, sexuality and intimacy is different, our sessions together may look different. During some sessions, I will take a more educational approach, including discussing the science of sex, or we may focus on somatic exercises. In other sessions, we may have a deeper discussion about what's going on for you.

Each session will be tailored to you and your specific needs. Below are some of the major focus areas that I work with:

FOCUS AREAS:

+ Trans & gender diverse affirming space: offer an understanding of how being trans, gender diverse, non-binary or gender questioning can interact with sexuality, including how hormones can interact with sexuality/ intimacy/ pleasure

+ Communication:
learning how to articulate desires and talk about what you want during sex and intimacy

+ Embodied practices: gaining practical tools and exercises to become more aware and embodied during sex and intimacy

+ Freeing from shame: understanding and releasing negative messages you have been told about your sex life, gender identity, sexuality, desires and body

+ Sexual difficulties: understanding and working on any sexual difficulties you’re having with arousal, orgasm, hyper-vigilance, and accessing feelings of pleasure.

+ Sex ed: all of the other sex ed content you were never taught at school, with a specific focus on making it all a bit more queer!
