ABOUT
My name is LJ (they/them), I am a trans non-binary sexologist and dance-maker based on unceded Wurundjeri Country in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia). Holding a Master's degree in Sexology, I conduct one-on-one sexology sessions and do consultancy for sexuality education organisations around LGBTQIA+ inclusivity. Over the last six years I have taught sexuality education at schools, universities, and community centres across Australia and have worked with the trans community, creating and managing trans-inclusive sexuality education and gender affirming workshops and classes.
Alongside all of this I am a dancer, holding a BPSA in Contemporary dance. This background in dance has impressed upon me the importance of listening to the body and what it can tell us, especially when it comes to sex, sexuality and gender.

SEXOLOGY
I am a passionate sexologist who believes in a client-centred approach. I am an advocate for trans and gender-diverse rights, as well as for sexuality education that is intersectional, trauma-informed, and queer & trans inclusive.
I believe that everyone deserves pleasure in all aspects of their life. Sadly, though, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, thorough and positive sex education is not often taught in schools or to young people growing up. We learn and try along the way, using the limited knowledge we are given.
I am invested in ensuring there is a place to talk about pleasure, to take up space, to feel positive in (and about) our bodies, and to learn how to communicate what we do and do not want. We are deeply influenced by everything around us, which includes the constant negative messages about sex, intimacy and our bodies, especially for queer and LGBTQIA+ people. Therefore, it’s important that we have the tools to be safely with ourselves and our bodies.

We are all on different sexual journeys; we all have different experiences and want different experiences. I’m here to help you figure out what your sexual journey is, not what other people expect it to be.
