Holding a Master's degree in Sexology, I conduct one-on-one sex education sessions, facilitate queer/ trans-inclusive sex education workshops and provide consultancy for sexuality education organisations about LGBTQIA+ inclusivity. Over the last six years, I have taught sexuality education at schools, universities, and community centres across Australia and have worked with the trans community, creating and managing trans-inclusive sexuality education and gender-affirming workshops. Alongside all of this, I am a dancer, holding a BPSA in Contemporary dance. I am an advocate for trans and gender-diverse rights, as well as for sexuality education that is intersectional, trauma-informed, and queer &amp; trans inclusive. I believe that everyone deserves pleasure in all aspects of their life. Sadly, though, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, thorough and positive sex education is not often taught in schools or to young people growing up. We learn and try along the way, using the limited knowledge we are given. I am invested in ensuring there is a place to talk about pleasure, to take up space, to feel positive in (and about) our bodies, and to learn how to communicate what we do and do not want. We are deeply influenced by everything around us, which includes the constant negative messages about sex, intimacy and our bodies, especially for queer and LGBTQIA+ people.
